This is the first Sunday of Advent. It is a season of waiting in anticipation for the birth of Jesus. But it is sooo much more than that! It is about Good News and Great Joy. But what happens when things go awry in our lives? When storybook joy is overshadowed by devastating sorrow? How do we find joy in our lives when times of hardship, tragedy and sorrows befall us? The answer is to find and then follow the Good News of Great Joy.
